PLANTERSVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Georgetown County sheriff's investigators charged two men with murder Friday in connection with Tuesday's shooting at a Plantersville Club.

Investigators charged 21-year-old Camron Lamar Green, of Conway, and 31-year-old Lavern Holmes, of Georgetown, with the murder of 26-year-old Deon Myers.

Georgetown County sheriff's deputies responded to Club "Ghost Den," located at 2001 Jackson Village Rd. Tuesday night. Deputies arrived on scene and discovered Myers on the floor with a gunshot wound to the face.

Witnesses at the scene told deputies that three unknown males entered the club wearing masks. One of the men was carrying what appeared to be a shotgun and they took Myres outside. Once outside, witnesses told authorities that they heard a single gunshot. The suspects then fled the area in an unknown direction of travel in what appeared to be a burgundy Mercury Sable.

Myers was transported the Georgetown Memorial Hospital for treatment and later transported to MUSC. He was pronounced dead Friday as a result of his injuries from the shooting.
