CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A Citadel cadet is accused of posting a 17-year-old girl's name, personal information and cell phone on a porn website.

The victim, a high school junior went public on national television to clear her name.

According to the girl's father, the cadet read an apology statement but the dad said the cadet didn't sound sincere.

Kelsey Upton and her father Randy Upton appeared on Tuesday CBS' "The Early Show" to talk about the incident.

Both father and daughter are angry that what the cadet did is not considered to be a crime.

"The fact that he's not being punished, to me it's not right. I don't want this to happen to anybody else and I want something to happen to him," Kelsey Upton said.

"I expected this individual to be arrested for what he had done because of the fact the photographs were so sexually explicit, it was just not a nude image," Randy Upton said."It was a very graphic image and I expected him to be arrested for that."

A Citadel spokeswoman confirmed that the cadet in question is enrolled at the college. But the spokeswoman, citing the family educational rights and privacy act, would not confirm a disciplinary hearing was held.
