Plenty of clouds and showers dot the sky as a new week begins Monday.
Temperatures to start the week are more like winter than spring with a chilly northeast breeze pumping the lower to mid 40's air in off the Atlantic waters.
Showers have been developing and approaching the area from the west since before sunrise and will continue to move in through lunchtime, into the afternoon. Highs will struggle to make the low 50's Monday afternoon and a few areas could receive thunder before the day is done.
Rain chances are right around 60 percent Monday. The rain and clouds should move out Monday night and if clear skies develop inland, there may be a few patchy areas of frost.
Lows for most areas will fall into the upper 30's to near 40 degrees on the beaches.
Tuesday has a mix of clouds and sunshine with temperatures back into the mid 60's.
