1 killed, 2 injured in crowd fight in Greenville

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Greenville deputies have charged a man with murder and attempted murder after one man was killed and two were injured in a large crowd fight.

Greenville County sheriff's Master Deputy Sam Cureton said in a news release that 33-year-old Oscar Eduardo Munoz-Portella was arrested moments after officers arrived at the scene of Saturday night's fight.

Munoz-Portella was being held without bail at the Greenville County jail. There was no indication whether he has an attorney.

Officials did not release the names of the victims. A message left Sunday with the Greenville County coroner's office was not immediately returned.

Cureton says the two injured men were in stable condition at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
