Search warrant leads to arrest of suspected drug dealers

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officers arrest four men suspected of dealing drugs in Charleston.

The Charleston Police Department charged 26-year-old Lanarol Dewey Huger, 30-year-old Kevin D. Lewis,  24-year-old Rodreguez Laval Shaw and 30-year-old Antonio Maurice Law with trafficking cocaine base, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.

The Special Investigations Unit of the Charleston Police Department executed a search warrant on Tuesday at a home on Odessa Street which led to the arrests.

As a result of the investigation, police confiscated 427 grams of marijuana, 18.5 grams of cocaine base, 4.5 grams of cocaine and more than $3,100 in cash.

The investigation is the result of information provided to police by concerned citizens of narcotic activity.

The suspects were locked up at the Charleston County Detention Center.
