As the weekend inches closer, the weather stays nice along the coast. High pressure overhead will keep things mostly sunny with only a few high, thin clouds from time to time passing by.
After a morning that starts clear and cool in the low 50's Thursday, the afternoon will see temperatures rebound back above normal with most areas winding up in the upper 70's to near 80. Winds will shift more to the east and southeast by Thursday afternoon around 7 to 12 mph.
Thursday night, forecast guidance shows a bit more cloud cover returning and temperatures staying closer to 60 by Friday morning. Friday should be partly cloudy and mild as highs hit near normal, around 75.
Showers return by Saturday morning and storms roll in by Saturday afternoon. Some of those storms could be strong so we will be weather alert as we head toward the first part of the weekend.
