Hostage note locks down Air Force Base

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Officials say the Charleston Air Force base was placed on lockdown on Thursday after authorities found a note saying, "I have a hostage."

Air Force base officials say the sticky note was found on the outside of one of the base's facilities.

Authorities say a sweep of the base found nothing suspicious and no lives were in danger.
