Trio of suspected drug dealers nabbed during undercover operation

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police arrested three people accused of dealing drugs in North Charleston.

The North Charleston Police Department has charged 27-year-old Casey Corie, 29-year-old Seedik Woods and 24-year-old Thomas Washington with distribution of marijuana.

According to investigators, an undercover drug operation in the Dorchester Terrace Community led to the arrests. Authorities say it all started when concerned citizens told authorities of narcotics activities in the area. 

Woods was additionally charged with distribution of marijuana ½ mile of a school, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute ½ mile of a school.

Washington was also charged with distribution of marijuana ½ mile of a school.

    Charleston Police say a teen gunman charged with murder fatally shot a 15-year-old moments after that teen shot and killed another 17-year-old at a West Ashley apartment complex.
