Teenagers arrested for stabbing man on Pawley's Island

GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has arrested two teenagers for stabbing a man on Pawley's Island.

Authorities are planning to charge 17-year-old Walker Bone Jr. with attempted murder and 18-year-old Haley Pitts with accessory after the fact.

At around 4 a.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the Waffle House on Ocean Highway. When deputies arrived on scene, witnesses said those involved had left the area and one person had been stabbed.

According to witnesses, a verbal altercation started inside the restaurant and continued outside where the fight turned physical. Authorities say they were able to locate the suspects' vehicle and arrested both Bone and Pitts.

The 19-year-old victim returned to the restaurant and told authorities it all started over a beer being thrown onto his vehicle in the parking lot.

Bone and Pitts were locked up at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
