Duo wanted for robbing man returning from vacation

WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Police are on the lookout for two men who robbed a man that was returning home from a vacation.

Authorities say the incident happened late Sunday night when a 34-year-old man was returning from Florida to his West Ashley apartment complex on Mary Ader Avenue.

The victim had unloaded his luggage and placed them at the bottom of the stair case. After all his bags were removed from his vehicle, he went to take the luggage upstairs.

As he was grabbing the bags, a man approached him. The suspect then placed a black semi-automatic gun to the victim's forehead and said, "I'm not kidding, give me all your money."

As the victim was getting his wallet, another man grabbed the victim from behind and told the victim to stay quiet. The suspects took money and two Android cell phones.

The suspects then left the area.

The victim describes the first suspect as a black male between 5'7" and 5'10" with light build, medium complexion. He was wearing a green camouflage jacket, dark cap and dark bandana covering his face. The second suspect, who the victim did not get a good look at, is described as a black male and 5'10."
