SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - As police continue searching for one of four teens who ran away from a Summerville treatment center last week, critics say the facility lacks security to handle the potentially dangerous young people staying there.
The hunt is still on for 19-year-old Delonte Parker who escaped Thursday. The three others have been caught.
All four were living at the Palmetto Behavioral Health Center on Midland Parkway in Summerville as part of a Washington D.C. youth rehab service program.
The center treats teen boys with sexually aggressive behaviors, drug problems and psychiatric, behavioral or conduct issues.
Officials haven't said how the teens escaped and they haven't released a picture of Parker, the teen still on the run.
