GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Goose Creek police confiscated a pocket knife from a 10-year-old Westview Middle School student Friday.

According to a police report, a 9-year-old girl observed a 10-year-old with an open pocket knife on the school bus Thursday morning. The girl's parents told police Friday that she was frightened and felt intimidated, but was not injured.

The girl's father told police he did not wish to seek any criminal charges against the boy.

Westview Middle School Principal Amiee Fulmer told police that the student was suspended for the incident and was awaiting an expulsion hearing.

The boy will not be prosecuted due the age of the juvenile, a report states.
