Another one of Live 5's Most Wanted fugitives is behind bars. Charleston County sheriff's deputies captured Christopher Shope on Saturday, two days after he was profiled on Most Wanted.
Shope was wanted for a probation violation after being convicted of assaulting a police officer.
"Anybody who assaults a police officer obviously is a danger to the community at large," said Agent in Charge Mitchell Ray.
Shope was on the run for eight months before his capture. Probation agents say Shope last reported to his probation officer in September 2010, and then disappeared.
Shope has a rap sheet that includes a conviction for resisting arrest.
