Police locate stolen car; Armed home invasion suspect still loose

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man that broke into a home and stole the victim's car in North Charleston. Police located the car Tuesday.

Authorities say the suspect entered a home on Albert Street and pointed a gold firearm at two people in the living room. The homeowner came into the living room and also witnessed the suspect. The suspect then demanded money and was given $20.

According to police, he then allegedly took two cell phones, the homeowner's wallet and the keys to the victims white 1996 Buick Regal. The suspect then fled the area in the Buick.

At 2 a.m. Tuesday, the Buick was recovered unoccupied at the Summerwood Apartments off of Highway 78 in Summerville. The suspect is still at large.

He is described as a black male, between 19 and 23 years old. He was also wearing a camouflage mask and , a long black shirt and blue jean shorts. The sheriff's office says that no one was hurt during the home invasion.
