Law enforcement remember fallen officers

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC/AP) - The Tri-County law enforcement joined together Thursday to remember officers killed in the line of duty from the greater Charleston area, Berkeley and  Dorchester Counties.

The law enforcement community paid tribute to, and remembered those in uniform that have made the ultimate sacrifice for their community.

The Tri-County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 3 held a cermony Thursday morning at the Felix C. Davis Community Center in North  Charleston.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Association also held a memorial Wednesday at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia to honor three officers specifically.

The names of South Carolina Public Service Authority Special Agent Frank B. Glover, Oconee County Sheriff's Deputy William F. Schuck, III, and Highway Patrol Cpl. Dana Kevin Cusack were added to the wall of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officers Hall of Fame.

Glover suffered a heart attack in January 2010 shortly after scuffling with a drunk and disorderly man. Schuck was killed when he became pinned between a tree and his patrol car in February 2010. Cusack was killed in March 2010 when his patrol car crashed.
