NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

A security guard has been charged in connection with a nightclub shooting in North Charleston over the weekend. A judge set bond at $30,000.

According to North Charleston police, a security guard at Club Dramatic on Dorchester Road, pointed her gun at two men who were thrown out of the club.

After the men were thrown out of the club, police say they fired shots into the parking lot as they drove off. A different security guard was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police charged 26-year-old Tara Haley with unlawful carrying of a firearm and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Police found 26 grams of marijuana in her possession. Police say she pointed her gun at the suspects who then shot at the male security guard.

A judge set bond for Haley at $30,000 on the two charges.

According to the State Law Enforcement Division, Haley lost her concealed weapons permit and wasn't supposed to have the gun.

The incident is still under investigation.
