CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Union Pier cruise terminal for Charleston will soon have a new home and the public has a chance to weigh in on its design.
The South Carolina Ports Authority is holding the first of three public meetings Tuesday. The meeting will be held at the current passenger terminal at 196 Concord Street from noon until 1:30 p.m.
Two more meetings will be held sometime this summer.
The Historic Charleston Foundation will also hold a public meeting Monday at 7 p.m. inside the College of Charleston's Physician's Auditorium on George Street.
The group wants to hear concerns about the new terminal.
