Police look to identify man suspected of car break-in

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of a car break-in in Mount Pleasant.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department say the break-in happened at the Rodeway Inn on 310 Johnnie Dodds Boulevard between Sunday night and early Monday morning.

According to investigators, the suspect used a credit card stolen from the vehicle at the Shell Gas Station located at 3855 West Montague Avenue in North Charleston for a $2.01 purchase.

An attempt was also made to use the victim's credit card at a Wal-Mart in North Charleston, but the transaction was declined because proper identification could not be obtained.
