Authorities say a 30-year-old man wanted for murder in Florida was arrested in Orangeburg Wednesday morning.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says that officers from the sheriff's office, the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety, and the Jupiter (Florida) Police Department arrested 30-year-old Fares Mustafa at an address on Russell Street.

Mustafa is wanted in the Town of Jupiter for the June 2010 shooting death of a 31-year-old man and the attempted murder of a 26-year-old woman.

Mustafa is charged with first-degree murder with a firearm, attempted first-degree murder with a firearm and a burglary of an occupied dwelling with a firearm.

Sheriff Ravenell says,"We are glad to be able to arrest a dangerous criminal hiding out in our county and bring him to justice."
