Kingstree crime: School buses vandalized; $100k in jewlery stolen

Kingstree police are investigating vandalism outside Kingstree Senior High School. At least 13 buses had windshields and windows shattered by rocks.

Authorities say the vandalism was discovered Thursday morning. The vandalism caused $3,000 in damages.

Police are still looking for suspects.

Kingstree police are also investigating a pawn shop robbery. Authorities say $100,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from Corner Pawn and Gun Shop on Main Street.

The robbery happened either Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. They say it was a "smash and grab" robbery.
