MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) - Renowned chef Paula Deen is among the main attractions at a weekend food and wine festival in Myrtle Beach.
The Food Network star is doing a cooking demonstration Saturday at the Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival.
Matt and Ted Lee are opening up for Deen. The Charleston brothers' cookbook, "The Lee Bros. Southern Cookbook: Stories and Recipes for Southerners and Would-be Southerners," won a James Beard Foundation Award in 2007.
The festival includes a restaurant week, a wine-tasting trolley tour of Myrtle Beach and outdoor entertainment. The event ends with the Coastal Uncorked Food Fight fundraiser, an "Iron Chef"-style competition pitting area chefs against each other.
Proceeds support the event and hospitality programs at Horry-Georgetown Tech and Coastal Carolina University.
