PICKENS, S.C. (AP) - Another round of severe storms made their way through South Carolina, toppling trees and knocking out power in Pickens County.
Friday's storms weren't as widespread as the storms that left a wide path of destruction early Wednesday. But even more severe weather is possible in South Carolina on Saturday from a cold front approaching the area.
Officials in Pickens County say the worst damage from Friday's storm was north of the town of Pickens. Several houses were hit by fallen trees, but no injuries were reported.
After Saturday's thunderstorms, forecasters expect the weather to calm down. Some areas will see a chance of rain to start the week, but no severe storms are expected.
