Duo charged with armed robbery at Mt. Pleasant bank, wireless store

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Police have arrested a man and woman they say are responsible for armed robberies at a bank and a wireless store in Mount Pleasant.

Mt. Pleasant Police Department Captain Stan Gragg says 24-year-old Samaryer Asha Sanders, of Charleston, and 23-year-old Richard Allen Manigault, of Mt. Pleasant, are responsible for last Tuesday's bank robbery at Palmetto Heritage Bank and Trust on Highway 17 North and the April 19 robbery of the Cricket Wireless Store, located off Chuck Dawley Boulevard near Ben Sawyer Boulevard.

Both suspects are charged with armed robbery.  Police also said that Manigault is responsible for the bomb threat called in to Moultrie Middle School last Tuesday.  He is charged with conveying a bomb threat.
