ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have identified another person wanted in connection to the shooting death of a 22-year-old student.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is looking for 23-year-old Maurice Shatodd Thompson wanted for accessory after the fact in connection to the April 15 shooting death of Johnathan Bailey.
Investigators have already charged 22-year-old Ray Anthony Alston Jr. with murder, 22-year-old Hillard D. Pinkney with accessory after fact of murder and a 16-year-old juvenile with murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
A SLED report states that the suspects are accused of meeting Bailey on campus for a pre-arranged drug deal. According to investigators, after a brief discussion, the victim tried to escape from the men and was shot in the chest.
