Authorities say an SUV overturned after being struck by a car on I-26 in North Charleston late Monday night.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Chevy car struck the rear of an SUV causing the SUV to overturn around 11:50 p.m.

Witnesses say they saw the Chevy traveling more than 90 mph when it hit the SUV which then flipped over multiple times before coming to rest near a guardrail.

Investigators say both drivers were not hurt and the driver of the Chevy was cited for traveling too fast for conditions.
