DeMint seeks documents from NLRB's Boeing decision

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Sen. Jim Demint sent a freedom of information act request to the National Labor Relations Board.

The NLRB filed a complaint against Boeing earlier this year claiming the aerospace giant chose Charleston for its new plant to get back at the union for past strikes.

Now, Demint says he wants to see documents that will help him understand the NLRB's decision to file the complaint.

The request includes communications between the NLRB And senior union officials with the International Association of Machinists as well as officials within Congress and the Obama administration.
