2 wanted for armed robbery at St. Stephen dollar store

ST. STEPHEN, SC (WCSC) - Two men are wanted for an armed robbery which happened at a St. Stephen Dollar General on Sunday, police say.

St. Stephen Police Chief John Waters said the incident happened around 9 p.m. at the store located off US Highway 52.

Waters said that two men wearing t-shirts around their head threatened the cashier with a gun and made away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the search for the suspects, who are described as two black males.  Authorities say the suspects stand about 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10, respectively, and that both suspects appeared to weigh about 155 pounds.
