CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have arrested a 30-year-old man accused of manufacturing marijuana at his home in Charleston.
The Charleston Police Department says David M. Thomas surrendered to police Wednesday morning. He was locked up at the Charleston County jail awaiting bond.
On May 30, authorities executed a search warrant at Thomas' home on Ashley Ferry Road.
A police report states that officers found nine potted marijuana plants between one and two inches tall inside of a closet. According to investigators, authorities also found equipment and materials used to grow marijuana in the bedroom.
