Smoke from GA fires finds its way to Charleston

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Big clouds of smoke have been seen around Charleston Saturday evening.

Smoke has been reported on James Island, Johns Island, West Ashley, Folly Beach, Mount Pleasant, Kiawah Island and Edisto Island.

The smoke is being blown in from wildfires in southeast Georgia and northern Florida.

The National Weather Service has issued a dense smoke advisory for Charleston. It will be in effect until 11 p.m. on Saturday
