NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The driver of a car who hit a utility pole Friday night had to be cut out of the car after being seriously injured.
Traffic was tied up Friday night on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston after an accident. Westbound lanes were closed on Rivers Avenue near Success Street while authorities cleared the accident.
North Charleston police say a vehicle hit a power pole and the driver of that vehicle had to be cut out and was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
The accident is still under investigation.
