Man arrested for causing $100k worth of damage to cars at dealership

Authorities say it will cost $100,000 to fix 25 vehicles that a man vandalized at a car dealership in North Charleston.

The North Charleston Police Department arrested 63-year-old Alan Roland of North Charleston for vandalism.

Officers responded to the Gene Reed Toyota dealership on 7151 Rivers Ave. in reference to vandalized vehicles. Officers say the vehicles were damaged by either a key or a knife.

The victim said that between Saturday night and Sunday night someone keyed 25 vehicles.

Officials say it will cost $100,000 to fix the cars.
