Republican Presidential Candidate Newt Gingrich plans to answer some Lowcountry residents' questions and offer up some energy solutions next week.
The former Speaker of the House will attend a town hall meeting sponsored by the Charleston Tea Party Tuesday, July 12. The event will be moderated by Kelly Golden and Richard Bachschmidt from Newsradio 94.3.
The town hall meeting will be held at North Charleston City Hall from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free and the general public is encouraged to participate.
The following morning, Gingrich will address electric cooperative leaders from South Carolina at the Charleston Place Hotel.
This meeting is meant to provide a balanced forum for Republicans and Democrats to express their ideas about energy policies.
