A traffic stop led to gun and marijuana charges for a North Charleston man Thursday afternoon.
Terrance Moorer was pulled over after improperly changing lanes on Ashley Phosphate Road.
The incident report states that Moorer seemed nervous and uneasy as he talked to police officers.
Officers then conducted a search of the car and found a 9 MM handgun in the glove compartment. They also found a clear plastic bag containing a green plant that tested positive for THC.
A background check on Moorer, 19, revealed multiple felony charges on his criminal record. Moorer was charged with possession of a pistol by a felon and simple possession of marijuana. After being arrested, Moorer was transferred to the Charleston County Detention Center.
