Ladson man dies after hitting pole in Goose Creek

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A  Ladson man was killed late Saturday night after his car hit a pole in Goose Creek.

Berkeley County Coroner's Office says 26-year-old Joshua Reeves was driving on Old Moncks Corner Road at around 11 p.m. when he hit a pole at the intersection of St. James Boulevard.

Authorities say Reeves Jeep Cherokee overturned and trapped him inside.

Chief Deputy Coroner George Oliver pronounced Reeves dead on the scene. No other vehicles were involved in this accident. We're told that Reeves was wearing a seatbelt.

This accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner's Office and the Goose Creek Police Department.
