WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy accused of two burglaries in West Ashley.
Charleston Police charged the boy with first- and second-degree burglary and possession of a controlled substance. The suspect's name is not being released because he is a juvenile.
Police say he was in possession of a methadone pill at the time of his arrest.
The burglaries happened on July 6 and 7 on Haddon Hall Road. The July 6 burglary occurred when someone entered the residence and removed a handgun and electronic equipment.
During the July 7 burglary, someone entered the home and removed two handguns, a rifle, a shotgun, cash and electronic equipment.
Authorities say some of the weapons taking during the burglaries have been recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
