NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Former Pennsylvania U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum is on a 2-day campaign swing through South Carolina in his quest for the GOP presidential nomination.
Santorum is in the Lowcountry on Tuesday and meets with reporters following a tour of the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center. Later in the day, he heads to Myrtle Beach for a fund raiser for the Horry County GOP.
On Wednesday, Santorum has appearances in Myrtle Beach, followed by visits to Spartanburg and at Winthrop University in Rock Hill.
South Carolina's GOP presidential primary is the first in the South.
