JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - A man accused of tying up and assaulting a woman Monday at a James Island home faced a bond court judge Tuesday.

Glenn Mishow, 33, was given a $100,000 bond. He is charged with kidnapping and criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature. Mishowe received a $50,000 surety bond for each charge.

Police arrested Mishow on Monday after a standoff with police. Investigators say Mishowe and the victim got into an argument at a home on Meander Row. They say he assaulted the woman and tied her up.

According to police, at one point Mishowe untied the victim so that she could go to the bathroom. While she was in the bathroom, Mishowe fell asleep and the woman escaped. The victim then went to the hospital and called police.

Authorities then responded to the James Island home trying to talk Mishowe into coming out of his townhome.
