GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A woman shot in the face couldn't tell Greenville County deputies what happened, but was able to write notes to help investigators.
Authorities say a homeowner called 911 around 1 a.m. Wednesday after seeing the woman stumbling around a Greenville neighborhood.
Deputies say the woman was shot in the lower part of her face and couldn't speak. But she was able to gesture and write notes that led officers to look for a green car.
Authorities say the woman is in serious condition at a Greenville hospital.
No arrests have been made.
