2 charged with holding up Mt. Pleasant Pizza Hut

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Police have charged two Mt. Pleasant men in connection with an armed robbery which happened at a Pizza Hut last month.

Mount Pleasant Police Department officials say 27-year-old Kenneth Oradell Murray and 32-year-old Clevelan Clarence Major held up the Pizza Hut at 2161 Highway 17 North on July 22.

Authorities say both men were already being held in the Charleston County Jail on other charges.  Murray has been charged in connection with the July 25 armed robbery of the Piggly Wiggly on Riviera Drive.
