WEEDSPORT, NY (WCSC) - A Ravenel man pled guilty Wednesday to luring a woman online with promises of a phony job at a horse farm, only to leave her unconscious and bound with duct tape in a motel.

The U.S. Attorney's office in Utica says 31-year-old Arnold Fox admitted he placed an online ad that lured a 21-year-old woman to Pennsylvania. Several days later, he left her unconscious and assaulted in a motel in Weedsport, N.Y.

Fox admitted that he stole the woman's car and changed the plates before fleeing to Florida where he was arrested by the FBI in Miami on Dec. 12, 2009.

He faces a maximum term of life in prison when he's sentenced on Dec. 16 in Utica.
