SC's sales tax holiday underway

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - South Carolina's sales tax holiday weekend is now in effect. It began at midnight.

From now through Sunday night, you won't need to pay state or local taxes on many back-to-school items.

The list includes clothing, shoes, school supplies, computers, and printers.

You will need to pay taxes on jewelry, watches, rental clothing, and furniture.
