Bond denied for Ladson pastor in Summerville kidnapping

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) -

A 46-year-old Ladson pastor accused of abducting and sexually assaulting two women has been denied bond for a kidnapping incident in Summerville.

Authorities say Dale Richardson was denied bond for first-degree assault and kidnapping charges.

A Summerville police incident report states that Richardson picked up a woman on June 21, drove her to a dirt road near The Lakes of Summerville subdivision and propositioned her for sex at gunpoint.

Richardson is also accused of abducting and sexually assaulting a woman last month and was charged with a similar case that happened last year in North Charleston.

The North Charleston Police Department and the Summerville Police Department charged Richardson with kidnapping/abduction and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

He was given a total bond of $1,050,000 in those two cases.
