Pilot drives off runway, crashes plane into fence during landing

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A pilot had a rough landing at the Charleston International Airport Tuesday morning as he drove a small airplane off the end of the runway and into a fence.

The unidentified pilot of the fixed-wing, single-engine Piper PA32 sustained no injuries in the crash landing.

The FAA, which is investigating, says the incident happened at 9:41 a.m.
