Duo wanted for robbing seafood store on James Island

JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Authorities are on the lookout for two men who robbed a seafood store on James Island Monday night.

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office responded to the Starfish Mart on 1648 Folly Road around 10:20 p.m. for an armed robbery.Witnesses say two men wearing black t-shirts over their heads entered the store.

An incident report states that as one suspect held a handgun, the other reached over the counter and took money from the cash drawer.

A Samsung CD radio was also taken during the robbery.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male, 6-foot, 130 to 140 pounds and 20 to 28 years old. The second suspect is described as a black male, 5'4", 150 pounds and 20 to 26 years old.
