CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Students are heading back to college. Both the College of Charleston and Charleston Southern University are welcoming freshmen to campus on Friday for move-in day.
So expect more traffic downtown. Classes officially begin Tuesday for both colleges.
CofC says their class of 2015 range from 16 to 38-year-old students and come from 42 states and 13 countries.
"We are very excited to welcome our newest class to the College," says Jimmie Foster, Jr., director of freshman admissions at the College of Charleston. "They come from all over the state and every corner of the country. Their long list of impressive experiences and academic accomplishments will no doubt make a substantial impact on the school and the region for years to come."
