A man was arrested by police Friday afternoon for allegedly punching another man in the face at a downtown Charleston library.
Charleston City Police say the incident happened at 3 p.m. at the main library on 68 Calhoun St. When officers arrived on the scene several witnesses pointed out the suspect to police who was standing outside of the building.
According to a police report, 23-year-old Mohammed Mused, admitted to officers that he got upset with the computer because it was running too slow and started to yell and cursed at it. The victim stepped in and told Mused to calm down.
Authorities say that's when Mused exchanged words with the victim and then punched him in the face. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Mused has been arrested and charged with second degree assault .
