Cops bust man with 105 grams of pot in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police officers arrested a 23-year-old man after he was found in possession of 105 grams of marijuana.

Kendyl J. Rice, of Bailey Drive in North Charleston, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute, and possession with intent to distribute within a half mile of a school.

North Charleston police officers were conducting a narcotics patrol Saturday at 2277 Bailey Drive when Ride was observed making contact with vehicles and people on foot, coming and going from the location.

Officers attempted to make contact with Rice who ran and threw .7 grams of marijuana to the ground, a police report states. Police say Rice was quickly apprehended and found with 104.7 grams of marijuana on him.
