Ashley Phosphate Rd now open following truck accident

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Ashley Phosphate Road has been opened after crews finished repair work on several power lines that had been knocked out by a tractor-trailer carrying a mobile home Tuesday morning.

SCE&G reported that repair work was completed at 11:50 a.m.

According to the Ashley River Fire Chief, all lanes were closed on Ashley Phosphate Road between Patriot Boulevard and Dorchester Manor Boulevard.

Ashley River Fire Department officials say a tractor-trailer that was transporting a mobile home, knocked out several power lines.
