Authorities identify motorcyclist killed in DUI wreck

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have identified a motorcyclist who was killed after he was struck head-on by car in Dorchester County on Friday.

The coroner's office says 40-year-old Christian Robinson died from injuries sustained from the accident.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol have charged 45-year-old Marlin Leon House Sr. for the accident that happened on US 78 near International Circle. According to an incident report, House was driving a 2006 Kia on Highway 78 when he attempted to pass a vehicle in a no passing zone.

He then collided head-on with a 2003 Honda Shadow motorcycle killing Robinson, authorities say.

The SCHP is continuing the investigation.
