A tornado watch has been canceled for the entire Lowcountry with the exception of Williamsburg, Clarendon, Georgetown and Horry counties. The watch continues for those counties until 9 p.m.
There area may still see a gusty shower or two, but the severe weather threat has ended.
A tornado watch was issued earlier Tuesday for Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester, Colleton and Beaufort Counties.
Clouds, showers and thunder will stay in the forecast overnight. The front should move east overnight and be near or just off the coast by sunrise on Wednesday morning. Showers and storms may linger through rush hour Wednesday morning as lows fall back into the lower 70s along the coast and into the mid 60 inland closer to Interstate 95.
Highs Wednesday will reach the upper 80's under slowly clearing skies by mid-afternoon. Rain chance tomorrow is 30 percent or less after midday.
